React to Frailty Training
React To Frailty training has been designed by the Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICS Frailty Group for all health and social care colleagues across the ICS. React To Frailty has been designed as a resource pack with two accompanying videos which explain how to use the Clinical Frailty Scale to identify different levels of frailty, and to improve awareness and understanding of what frailty means and how it can be managed.
All people having undertaken the training will understand:
- Frailty and the use of the Clinical Frailty Scale in the identification and communication of frailty.
- How to describe the deterioration or reablement of individuals.
- The importance of a holistic, joined up approach to managing frailty across health and social care.
- How to identify an appropriate care pathway for those living with frailty including referral and signposting to appropriate services.
The training takes under 30 minutes to complete. A certificate is available as proof of completion. You can register via React to Frailty’s official website.
