Free walk-in testing event
We welcomed the NHS England mobile screening unit to Kirkby-in-Ashfield for a free walk-in testing event in July to discuss their risk with a clinician or have a finger prick blood test for early signs of diabetes.
Height, weight, blood pressure, BMI checks and Lipid Testing were also available – all of which can be early indicators of developing Type 2 diabetes.
